Please:
Dealing with both Mac and Windows here, methinks.
Wanting to get individual tunes out of iTunes Library over to an external drive so I can copy them into different programs on my PC.
Everything found on www is about copying the entire library by "simply" dragging the iTunes Media file over to the DEVICES:external drive file.
Doesn't work; any attempt to drag from iTunes results in a circle/slash icon indicating "nope".
Any info about how to accomplish what I'm wanting?
Many thanks. Appreciated.

If you can play the file from the iTunes library, you can record it direct from your sound card with freeware like Audacity them export it as mp4 to anywhere you like.
