How to delete Vista dualboot W7

OK, I did some testing.

That error appears if you select the CURRENT boot drive in the pop-up menu. You're supposed to select the drive you want to become the new one. So it looks like you're selecting what already is the boot drive....

I've fixed the bug anyway, and have attached a build that doesn't show that error.

However, you must select the destination soon-to-boot-drive in the pop-up dialog..

You don't need to move anything manually.
Just Use EasyBCD 2.0 latest build
diagnostics / change boot drive.
point it where you want the boot files to move to.
Hello Terry60, I have had similar problems to those in this post.
I wanted to come down to single boot from dual boot of XP and win7.
I had Big problems of the bootloader insisting on looking at the "wrong" drive.

I used EasyBCD 2.0 latest build.
And it worked. Hooray.
One click and all was mended.
I am so happy :grinning:

Thanks to all involved. Wonderful stuff
