how to set up vista and xp 2 different drives

HI

I just formatted and reloaded both systems on their respective disks. I did install Vista First.

XP can read both hard drives . XP reports the C drive ( IDE) as:
C drive ( XP)
Location 0
Disk 0 mbr

D Drive ( Sata) ( Vista)
Location 0
Disk 1 mbr

However XP is the only one I can boot at this time. How do I make this system dual boot?
I have d/l East bcd 1.6, but have not used it as i dont want to screw my installs up

Hi Rick, welcome to NeoSmart Technologies.

Run EasyBCD | Manage Bootloader | Reinstall Vista Bootloader
EasyBCD | Add/Remove Entries | Windows XP | Add Entry

then reboot.

Should do the trick.
