How to setup a dual-boot

New Member
Desktop machine

Current status:
Two HDD's are installed
One is a SATA 2 containing Vista Home Premium which is now operating
The other is a SATA 1 containing XP Pro sp2 which is now idle
This SATA 1 is disconnected from the mainboard.
RAID is not applied

This is what I want:
1.Connect the SATA 1 to the mainboard
2.Setup a Vista & XP dual bool
3.Boot to my choice

Help, Please:
How must I operate on the EasyBCD setup panel ?

Thank you!

Switch the drives around. Or at least, connect both and configure the BIOS to boot from the Vista drive.
In Vista, install EasyBCD 2: EasyBCD 2.0 Beta Builds - The NeoSmart Forums
USe it to add a new Windows XP entry. When it asks to autoconfigure, press Yes.
Reboot and enjoy your menu.
