How to temporarily revert to single boot?

Re: Dual boot Vista 32-bit / Windows 7 64-bit
EasyBCD 2.0.2

Background:
I am preparing to image my Windows 7 64-bit system onto an SSD. I've done the research on the SSD and have succeeded in 2048 aligning all the disks with relevant partitions using Paragon's Alignment Tool 3. And I have ascertained that Acronis TIH 2010 will conserve alignment when restoring the image.

Question: The boot files for the dual-boot system are on the Vista partition [volume] on Disk0, whereas Windows 7 is on Disk1.

How do I copy these to the Windows 7 partition on Disk1, which is the only volume to be imaged onto the SSD AND can I use EasyBCD to temporarily single boot into Windows 7 and so image just this 'self-booting' volume for the move?

Many thanks!
