EasyBCD manages the boot menu smoothly.

Question:
In Edit Boot Menu,
Under Modity Menu Entries,
Under Default,
I check-marked one of the check-boxes for testing.
How to undo the check-mark?

Thanks!

There has to be a default system.
It's how the boot manager knows which system to boot if you don't pick one and the timeout occurs.

Also, if you didn't have a default before, that only means that the first entry was an invisible default.

Thank you, Mr. Terry.

In fact, it didn't have to have any one selected as a default to boot.
The system booted the first one on the menu.
At least, it was this way on my machine.

I am not saying this is the right way.
Simply wondering why I cannot undo the check-mark.

Thank you.

Mr. Computer Guru,

Thank you again.

The first entry booted as the default.
Why can't I undo the check mark since it is not necessary?
This is just for learning.

Thank you.

I don't know what more to say.

Until one is set as default, the first one is the auto default. Once you pick a default....... That's it.

You're welcome.

For the record, you can make it wait forever until you make a choice each time you turn it on with EasyBCD. That's done by setting the timeout to none.
