Were I to image a 250GB HDD, that's using appx. 22GB, to a second internal drive of 80GB - would I have a problem? Why I ask is that I've seen a couple of different response on another forum.

Depends on how you do it. If you image the data, no problem. If you image the hard drive, problem.

A good partition imager (Acronis, for instance) will work out the kinks for you.

I use Acronis TI Home 2010, so I guess I'll give it a try, I want to image the complete C: drive (OS and data).
