Title says it all. I installed Win XP32 after Win7 and lost access to Win7. The problem is that EasyBCD cannot detect WinXP to make a new entry even after I changed Bootgrabber.exe and after I installed Windows Vista\7 bootloader to the mbr. It gives me the "EasyBCD failed to detect a valid installation of Windows NT-2003 on all mounted drives and was unable to continue". I read a lot of stuff here on the forums but every solution seems to be case specific. I use EasyBCD 2.0.2.

Anyone? Thanks

Hi
Same problem
Had W7 64bit installed on Drive c partition
Installed XP 32bit on Drive d partition
XP now boots (not W7)
Tried EasyBCD 2.1.2 but reports boot configuration data store could not be opened.
Tried EasyBCD 2.2 same results.
View Settings: shows 0 entries
Edit Boot Menu: No entries detected
Add New Entry: Grayed
BCD Backup/Repair: Re-create/repair boot file = Option only on Win7,Vista & W8
BCD Deployment: Install the w7 bootloader > Write MBR = No change
BCD Deployment: Install the wxp bootloader > Write MBR = No change

Stuck please help
Many thanks
Michael
