is it possible to make a hotkey to boot into hidden partitions?

So i want to create a hot key to boot into a hidden partition similar to how you boot into a recovery partition. For example i turn on the computer and if nothing is pressed i boot into windows 7, however if i hit ctrl+shift+f9 it would boot into a hidden linux partition. I hope someone could help me with a solution.
 
You might actually find the (older?) version of this document to be more helpful. I downloaded it a while back:
