I am planning a tenant-to-tenant migration project for our organization because we are consolidating multiple Microsoft 365 tenants after a company merger. Our environment contains hundreds of user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, SharePoint Online sites, OneDrive accounts, calendars, contacts, and important business emails. My biggest concern is preserving the original mailbox structure throughout the migration. I don't want users to log in after the migration and find their Inbox, Sent Items, custom folders, or SharePoint libraries rearranged. It is also very important that email metadata, such as Subject, From, To, CC, timestamps, attachments, categories, calendar events, recurring meetings, and folder hierarchy, remain exactly the same. We also have OneDrive files with metadata and SharePoint document libraries that cannot afford any structural changes. Another concern is duplicate data because we have already performed several test migrations. During the final migration, I only want the software to migrate new or modified content instead of copying everything again.
