Lost XP After Vista Install

I need some help as I am probably in over my head. I have installed Vista on a new partition of my single 200Gb HDD. After the vista install, I never got the option of dual booting to XP. The partitions and my files on the non Vista Partition are still present. I have tried VistaBoot pro, but I get caught in this loop without being able to boot XP. I am not sure where to go from here. I dont really know how to move the boot.ini and ntldr files. I love Vista, but would rather have my fully functioning XP back. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have added Windows XP via VistaBootPRO 1.0 as an entry, you most likely don't have to move those files.

Just open boot.ini, and where it says partition(n) (where n is a number from 0 to 10), change it to n+1
So if it was
Code:
partition(1)
it'll become
Code:
partition(2)

I appreciate your patience. I am not sure where boot.ini is. I do not have access to XP and I am not sure where it is in the Vista partition or rather how to access it. Again I appreciate your help (CG)
