Mouse Keyboard no longer working on dual boot

I have installed a second ssd with Windows 10, and intended to be able to dual boot into either Win 7 or 10 when needed. Unfortunately there was no option menu to select the OS coming up when the Pc booted. This meant I would need to go to the bios each time, to change the boot sequence in order to start the OS I needed at that time.
I installed EasyBCD in the hope that it would allow me to easily select the OS from a menu, which it did. It boots perfectly in Windows 10, however when it boots into Window 7, the keyboard and mouse no longer work, so I can't even click the icon to type in my password. I can see the cursor, but nothing is happening, Tried unplugging/plugging the wireless dongle in the hopes that it would register (its a logitech keyboard and mouse still not luck, there are no lights on them either, tried wired keyboard and mouse still nothing.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this? Is it a driver not loading problem?

thanks
JP
