Hello,
I have insatlled Vista HP x32 and Ubuntu 9.04 x64 on the same HD on different partition.
When I installed Ubuntu I choose to install GRUB on it's own partition.
I tried adding Ubuntu with EasyBCD. I just selected Linux and selected on which partition Ubuntu was installed. I didn't select GRUB isn't installed to the bootsector.
Now if I boot I don't see any extra option asking me if I want to boot into Ubuntu.
My BIOS loads, and after that Vista does. Absolutely no extra screen.
Here is some more info on what I did:
I find it strange that msconfig isn't altered either after I added Linux.
Is anyone able to help me with this tricky dualboot?
Regards,
-Demonon.
Addendum:
Ok, I tried EasyBCD 2.0 beta and it succeeded.
So I guess I don't need any more help with dualbooting.
