Please don't PM me with support requests.
Please don't triple-post.

Your error is not the end of the world. Be patient.

EasyBCD | Bootloader Management | Reinstall Vista Bootloader

hmmm:frowning:

did it but gettin da same ol xp autostart without any boot choices...
i made this very same mistake be4 but back then i jus did it via command prompt nbut now when i give it the command:
g:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt60 all

it gives me the error
Code:
C: ([URL="file://\\?\Volume{664690bd-7ed1-11dc-8f7b-806d6172696f"]\\?\Volume{664690bd-7ed1-11dc-8f7b-806d6172696f[/URL]})
Updated NTFS filesystem bootcode. The update may be unreliable since the
volume could not be locked during the update:
        Access is denied.

    Successfully updated NTFS filesystem bootcode.

    Successfully updated NTFS filesystem bootcode.
Bootcode was successfully updated on all targeted volumes.

At the very first screen (or the second?) there will be a small text link in the bottom left/right hand corner.

nopes...cant find any option there:S

Addendum:

why cant i do it through command prompt like i did b4?

Addendum:

Insert the Vista DVD. When you get to the screen where the big Install Now button is that is the screen you want. In the lower left hand corner is the repair options. Click on that. When the options come up choose the Boot Repair. It is there.
