hi everyone,
i have easybcd with widnows 7 and windows xp both working. i've tryed to install ubuntu 9.1 following the tutorials but when i boot it, it says that the partion can't be booted. i'm trying to use neogrub, but i doens't work either. i think the reason it's that the new grub provied with ubuntu 9 doesn't make any menu.lst file of his own( or maybe i can't find it) tryed to paste in the menu.lst of neogrub what i found in grub.cfg, which is
Code:

and i also tryed to correct that strange name it gives to the hd, "329c80149c7fd139" with its actual name sdb3 (in which are installed ubuntu and grub)
what can i do?
i hope i can copy some of the lines in grub.cfg to the menu.lst file of neogrub, but my actual tentatives didnt' work.
thanks for the attention

Hi hor,welcome to NST.
Ubuntu 9.10 uses grub2
Make sure you're using EasyBCD 2.0 latest build (not 1.7)
Delete your previous attempts at making a Linux entry.
Add a new one selecting grub2 from the dropdown, not legacy grub.
Don't worry that everything "greys" out. Easy2 doesn't need any more information.
