No Internet/Network in dual boot

I have vista and xp in dual boot. when booted in vista all is fine, but when booting into xp I can't connect to the internet or to the network. Any suggestions.
 
Hi ret890, welcome to NeoSmart Technologies.

We'll need a bit more info to really be of any help - though I can tell you right off that there is no way that any network settings you make to your computer under Windows Vista would ever affect any network/internet settings & configurations on XP.

Do you have a router? Are you on a LAN? Dial-up internet?
