I recently installed and started using EasyBCD2.3
The reason was I updated my computer to a Samsung SSD
Prior to the installation I had a dual boot system that was booting and
giving me the selection to choose between either Win 32 Bit or Win 64 Bit.
Samsung migration software changed the boot identifier which lead to me
discover EasyBCD which saved me a lot of frustration.
After reading through the help section I selected
1. Reset BCD configuration.
2. Add new entries.
a. Name: Windows 10 Home
b.Name: win 64 Photo
c. Wait for user selection
d. Save settings.
Now when looking at view settings posted below I see three settings which has me confused.
The first one is one that does not show in Edit Boot Menu which I will post after view settings
View Settings Reads as follows:
There are a total of 2 entries listed in the bootloader.
Default: Windows 10 Home
Timeout: None
Boot Drive: G:\
Entry #1
Name: Windows 10 Home
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Entry #2
Name: win 64 Photo
BCD ID: {c880a70e-5df3-11e7-9483-6c626d0fcdaf}
Drive: E:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Boot Menu Shows the following:
Entry
Windows 10 Home Yes
win 64 Photo No
Problem is upon first boot of day I have no options showen
and computer boots right into Default Windows 10 Home.
Is there a way to correct this so I have an option at intial boot of the day?
And I read the post about turning off fast boot and I did so and it had no affect.
Thank you in advance to any response to this.
Frank
