Hi Computer Guru.
I have the same problem but with the NTLDR is missing. And this happens on a vista OS.
Tried hitting the del and F8 buttons but nothing is working. And it is a Laptop. I tried removing the Hard DIsk and replug it again but nothing works as well..

Any other possibilities??

Sure you don't have XP installed somewhere on the computer? Like Terry said, the NTLDR is an XP boot file, not a Vista one. From what it sounds like, it is possible you have XP's bootloader in the MBR, instead of Vista's. If that is the case, then you will need to resinstall Vista's to the MBR instead, using our Recovery CD found on this site if you don't own a Vista reinstallation DVD. You may need to run Startup Repair a few times though, before the problem is fixed, since it apparently can only fix one thing per pass.

Cheers, and let us know if this fixes the problem.
