well i installed vista a while ago as a second partition on the same drive as my XP parition
everything installed correctly but then i chose to remove vista by just formatting the vista partition using paragon
now the problem is that the vista boot loader is always used
no matter what i do (uninstall it using easybcd), nothing works
on my c:\ drive root directory i have these files
boot.ini
boot.bak
grldr
bootmgr
bootsect.bak
ntldr
NTdetect.com
whenever i try to open easybcd to edit the MBR file i see this in the "view settings" window
There is one entry in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader Timeout: 30 seconds.
Default OS: Windows Xp
Entry #1
Name: Windows Xp
BCD ID: {ntldr}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \ntldr
