NeoSmart Technologies has released version 2.0 of ToolTipFixer, the highly-acclaimed utility for Windows that prevents and eliminates Windows' tooltips-under-the-taskbar problem.

ToolTipFixer 2.0 updates the previous release with improved memory usage (~1MiB on most systems), standalone ToolTipFixer mode, and no longer requires the Microsoft .NET Framework.

ToolTipFixer 2.0 can be installed either like TTF1 as a system update or it can be installed as a standalone utility with a start menu entry for repairing the ToolTip z-order only when needed.

ToolTipFixer is a free utility from NeoSmart Technologies used to fix a problem routinely encountered by users of Microsoft Windows where the tooltips are hidden beneath the toolbar, rendering them unreadable and frustrating end users to no end.

Another great app from you Mahmoud. Will make sure to get the word out on this one.
Thanks, Mak.. I've already sent you a PM with regards to that matter

It's been updated since the beta I posted here - now it has support for running it in "standalone mode" if you don't want it to run in the background.
