title should say Vista BUSINESS Basic - sorry

tried several hours with no luck. purchased and downloaded your Vista 32 bit recovery disk.

acted like it worked but still got the same error message upon rebooting: NTLDR Missing
tried several times going through the repair

went to the command prompt line entering: E:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force
got the same error message several times:
E:\boot\bootsect.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

???

NTLDR is the XP boot loader.
Getting any message about that on a Vista system means that the MBR is finding an old-style PBR in the active partition's boot sector.
Do you have a second HDD which used to be on an old XP system ?
If so check your BIOS boot sequence to make sure you're not booting from the wrong HDD.

I am having this same issue and its on a laptop that I bought starting with vista only so no previous OS. Also Terry if this isn't an issue we should see then why is there steps to fix it? My command prompt starts with x:\Sources> but all the rest is the same and I'm getting the same error.
