Problem with Windows XP and EasyBCD

I just encountered a problem with Windows XP and booting up. Here is the problem.

Windows XP was about to reume and my power went out, after that It defaulted to boot to Windows 7, the thing is this. Once I tried to go back into Windows XP I got all sorts of problems after Windows did a CHKDSK and ever since I can't seem to boot into Windows XP anymore.

I can see the Boot Selection Menu but when I choose XP it simply reboots to the menu again. Can someone please tell me how I can fix this.

Try doing a repair install of Windows XP.

By that I am assuming you mean with the Windows XP installation disc?

And once thats done check Windows Update to re-install all the updates it well have wiped out.
