Hi.

I got some problems during turning on my computer. It always pops up: NTLDR is missing, press ctr+alt+del to restart.

I have folled your guide and downloaded and burned the
Windows Vista Recovery Disk Download.

Ive tried to press "startup repair" for automatic repair, but it didnt worked.

Then Ive tried the next step: "Manually Repairing the Vista Bootloader".
The first command: bootrec.exe /fixmbr goes find, and it says its completed successfully.
But when Im trying to type the next command: x:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force
it says that the "System cannot find the path specified".

The same thing happends when I try the last step as well.

Why cant it find the path specified, and what can I do?

Thx for fast respond

Read the paragraph above that command again and the yellow box.
That message is telling you you're pointing to the wrong place for bootsect.
You need to make sure you have a copy, then adjust that command to point to where it is.

First, I cant understand where i see the correct letter. 2. Im not sure what copy ur talkig about(yes, Im not good in understanding computers at all, so detailed information would be awesome)

Addendum:

would it be easier for me if I just bought the full verson of vista?

Addendum:

ok, When I typed the letter E, it says "The device is not ready" . This is really getting on my nerves....

If you haven't got a full Vista with bootsect included, you'll find a copy in the EasyBCD Bin folder, but you'll need to make sure it's somewhere accessible which you can specify in that command.
