Remove phantom duplicate entry

I have a dual-boot system with Win7Pro×64 on both my old HDD and a newer SSD (to be able still to work in case of a crash). After an "upgrade" of the old HDD system to Win10, I still could boot both without any problem. However, the boot menu showed the menu item "Windows 7 (SSD)" twice.
After eliminating Win10 by overwriting it with a Win7 disk image (too many problems, such as all icons away and context menu not working anymore), both Win7 installations work perfectly again; however, the "Windows 7 (SSD)" line still appears twice upon boot, though only once in EasyBCD ! After renaming the only one seen in EasyBCD, the new name also appears twice ! Note that Win10 wasn't installed on the boot active disk (SSD).
Has anybody a good idea how I can "delete" this redundant choice ? I wouldn't like to risk anything by overwriting the MBR for such a small cosmetic problem.
