Removing old OS installations

Hi NST forum!

I recently made the jump to Windows 7 and am ready to dump all my old XP and Vista installations across my 5 hard drives. I am unable to remove 2 of the installation as my current Windows 7 installation discovered them and has protected them from format.

Here is my BootLoader/BootManager as read by EasyBCD:

I recently used EasyBCD 2.0.0.79 BETA to change my boot drive from one of the old installation drives to my Windows 7 drive, hence the

path \bootmgr

entry.

What do I need to do to let Windows 7 know that:

1) I want these deleted
2) I don't want them backed up along with my current installation

I realize I can simply nuke them from a bootable format utility (none of my old utilities work on SATA :wtf:smile:, although I could use some guidance on a reliable formatting utility. These installations exist inside partitions of the hard disks that I want to save, I just want the Windows files removed.

Basically, can I use EasyBCD to enable Windows 7 to be able to format those 'protected' partitions? And if not, which software should I use to format them without destroying the partitions?

Thanks NST. You guys (and gals?) are incredible!
