Hey guys... this SHOULD be easy...
My C: drive is a SATA drive with Vista on it
My D: drive is a SATA drive with data (no OS) on it, BUT it has the Vista boot mgr
My goal is to remove the D: drive for safekeeping.
So I set C: to active and I removed the D: drive and rebooted. Can't boot complaining about winload.exe. So I attempt a repair with Vista DVD a couple times, that doesn't work either.
How do I remove a hard drive with nothing but data on it without breaking my booting? I want to do this without downloading or buying any other applications.
