removing Vista from my dual operating system

I hope this is simple, but I don't want to mess it up -- I installed Windows 7 on my Vista desktop Sony computer. Both work, but now I am ready to force myself to use the Windows 7 system. I want to remove the 2nd system, the Windows Vista. I see the Easy BCD says:

Default: {current}
Timeout: 30 seconds
Boot Drive: C:\
Entry #1
Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: D:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Entry #2
Name: Microsoft Windows Vista
BCD ID: {default}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

What do I do next -- is there any way to get the Programs running on the Vista system onto the Windows 7 system without re-installing them all, what about my files? Any easy way?

You can just drag or copy/paste your user files from Vista to W7.
You'll have to reinstall all 3rd party apps
When you're sure Vista is a dead husk, and no longer needed
EasyBCD > BCD Backup/Repair > Change boot drive
Point it to the W7 disk when prompted.
Boot W7
Check when booted that W7 is listed in Disk Management as "active" "system" and "boot"
You can then click on the Vista partition and delete or format it for whatever pupose you like.
