Reparing the Vista boot

Hey all,

I was recommended to use this program after I ran into a problem with a dual boot. Basically I need to uninstall Fedora Core 6, but in order to do so I need to restore the original Windows Vista boot.

Will running this tool do the trick so I can delete the Fedora partitions or is there more I have to do?

I attempted to contact HP, but they were no help as running Linux (or any version of it) is a complete no-no and apparently it has corrupted pretty much every file that I could have used to restore it and the only other choice is to buy a CD from them to repair it. Right.

Thanks in advance,
Sean

Hi Sean, welcome to NeoSmart Technologies.

Yeah, it should do the trick.
Run EasyBCD on Vista -> Bootloader Management -> Reinstall Vista Bootloader

Make sure you're using the latest version.

(btw, may I ask who recommended you here?)

Glad to hear it, congratulations on getting it to work.

It's always nice to see the links coming in from reputable sources like Linux Forums, thanks for sharing that
