How do I run easybcd from command prompt using the vista recovery disk? I think I damaged the MBR on my acer when I installed linux and overwrote vista. The installation from my Acer vista recovery disks won't run and I get an error message that autochk program not found. This puts me in a loop without vista booting. Acer is no help,(I am out of warranty) and one possible explanation is that there is a problem with my mbr. I have run fixmbr, but that didn't solve the problem. I am hoping that there are other fixes on easybcd.
