Same old problem: USB won't boot

Hi guys, Acer Win8 is the unit that has failed with missing winload.efi, error code: Oxc0000185. No trouble creating the USB on HP Win10 laptop, and it is recognised by the Acer when you do an F12, USB powers up but just comes back with no bootable medium. The HP has no DVD drive but have a Liteon external drive so thought I could create a bootable CD but no success there either as EasyRE only does USB. Only get Fat32 option on set up but should I be using other? Were the updated iso files any help? Cheers Philip
