SBS 2008 corrupt System Reserve Partition and BCD store

Disaster struck when resizing our drive C system partition from the recommended-but-actually-way-too-small 60GB, in SBS2008-R2-SP2 on an IBM Systemx3200. We used EaseUS Partition Master Server Edition (caveat emptor).
After resizing, the reboot failed with error 'File: \Windows\system32\winload.efi, Status: 0xc0000225, Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt'.
We rebooted to recovery mode and attempted to use BCDedit to rebuild the corrupt BCD store, but seemingly the System Reserve Partition is also corrupt. We succeeded in giving the SRP a drive letter, but this had no effect. What procedures should we try before we are effectively forced rebuild the system?
