SBS 2008 server.

I just want to check that my config. is not a varient which EasyBCD will not handle OK.

I have this server and during install some files went onto drive D: and most of OS on C: (which is a RAID 1 with C:, E and F:smile:.

On D: I have:
$RECYCLE_BIN
Boot (load of country looking folders each with single bootmgr.exe.mui file + BCD, BCD.LOG, BCD.LOG1, BCD.LOG2, bootstat.dat and memtest.exe)
System Volume Information
WSUS
bootmgr - a system file.

I am assuming apart from Boot and bootmgr which EasyBCD should deal with I can ignore (and EasyBCD ignore) and go ahead with the operation to get ALL of boot on C:.

My aim is to remove D: entirely.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks, that's great. So I see now that once EasyBCD is run and something hiccups I can easily get back to where I was by simply changing the BIOS boot back to D:. Have I read that right?

If D is on a different HDD, yes. If it shares the same HDD, you can restore the status quo ante by setting D "active" again.
