Sleep mode no longers put the computer to sleep

I have a problem with my desktop. One day all of a sudden when I tried to put my computer on sleep mode the power button on the tower wouldn't turn orange(sleep mode) it would just stay blue. This occured randomly and my computer hasn't been sleeping since. Insomia??

I own an HP Pavillion m9340f.

Addendum: I solved my problem by doing this
