Switch from Grub2 to Windows Bootloader

I have a 64-bit machine that came with Windows 7 pre-installed which I then immediately converted to a Grub2-based openSuSE 13.2 x64 Linux system with dual boot into Windows -- both work fine.

I'd now like to upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10 but, sadly, the upgrade fails due to Grub2 (according to MS). So, I'd like to switch to the Windows bootloader (temporarily).

Here's my configuration:

C:\Program Files (x86)\NeoSmart Technologies\EasyBCD\bin>BootGrabber.exe /tlist

BootGrabber utility.

I've tried executing Install BCD and Write MBR from BCD Deployment in EasyBCD (2.2.0.182) on partition 1 ("V:\") as well as on partition 3 ("C:\") but in both cases Grub2 remains. The BIOS boot is set to "Legacy", not UEFI.

Any ideas on how to proceed?
