Transfering a (now corrupted) BCD store to a different OS partition

This didn't work. (By 'this' I mean the manual transfer of the BCD and bootmgr to the small, empty A partition when the walkthrough didn't work.) I couldn't boot, and had to restore the OS.
Do you have ANY other fixes at this point?
I think you should consider an additional warning at the top of the walkthrough to tell people they'll have to do a backup/restore if this fails.
Sorry Windows is such a pain!
