Triple boot XPro 32,Win 7 63, Vista 64

OK, I did this and had an issue. I couldn't get into my Vista drive. I would choose the Vista drive and it would auto log me into win 7. So I put Vista first in the BCD2.0. Now all I am getting is an error that says

WINDOWS BOOT MANAGER ERROR

Windows failed to start.
1. install your windows installation CD and restart your computer
2.choose you language setting and click next
3.click repair your computer

File:\ windows\system32\winload.exe

Sataus: 0xc000000e

Info: The selected entry could not be load because the application is missing or corrupt

I am guessing this would be the Windows XP Pro 32bit that need to be repaired?

What I have is a dual boot of XP Pro 32 and Windows 7 64 on one drive. I was trying to add a completely other drive with Vista 64. At one time I did have the vista and XP dual booted with BCD2.0 using two different drives.

Thanks

Hi NewB, welcome to NST.
Winload.exe is the Vista/W7 boot loader - nothing to do with XP.
Don't go repairing XP !
That will just revert the MBR and boot sector PBR to XP versions, and neither of your longhorn systems will be able to boot.
If you installed Vista with your other dual-boot visible, it should have added itself into the W7 BCD automatically.
Since that didn't happen, I assume you did an independent install of Vista and you're trying to boot it.

Does your W7/XP HDD still dual-boot as before ? (put it 1st in the BIOS boot sequence)
If so, just add a Vista entry to the W7 BCD with EasyBCD 2.0, pointing it to the Vista partition.

If the W7/XP HDD won't boot (you've done something to break the original dual boot), then disconnect Vista temporarily, boot from the W7 DVD, "repair your computer" " startup repair" 3 times in all, till W7 is booting again.
Then reconnect Vista and use EasyBCD 2 to add a Vista entry (and one for XP if the repair didn't add XP automtically itself.)
If you need to add XP, let EasyBCD auto-configure it.

Hey Terry, I had to save the XP partiton and the Win 7 partition. Vista made through unscathed. I am think, because I had the BCD2.0 running a dual boot with the XP drive first. Then partitioned the XP drive with a Win 7 and dual booted those. It didn't like that.
I have it all back up and running except i still can not boot to Vista. It looks like it gonna then starts Win 7. I have it loading from Win 7, Vista, then XP. Win 7 and XP are on the same disk. Maybe I need to have Vista third in the group. instead of second.
What I just noticed is that my computer is not seeing 4 of the 7 drives I have installed. They are all lit up and spinning. So Vista is not even an option.

What I have is

NOT IN SYSTEM
1 80GB drive with Vista installed - NOT SHOWING
3 1tb drives for storage - NOT SHOWING

IN SYSTEM
1 500 with two partitions
XP Pro @250GB -SHOWING
Win 7 @ 250 GB - SHOWING
2 500 GB Storage - SHOWING
All drives are plugged in and working with the Vista/XPPro dual boot
I would imagine this is my prblem

Addendum:

The Vista drive shows in my computer and Drive Management but not in the BOIS. Maybe I have too many drive on the system...lol

Addendum:

Win 7 and XP both boot just not Vista

Addendum:

OK, Found all my drives. But the Vista drive does not show as a bootable device in my BOIS. If I disconnect the Win 7/XP drive it will boot Vista. Do I need to do something to the Vista drive in the BCD?

Please copy/paste the contents of the EasyBCD "dispay settings" in detailed (debug) mode, and post a screenshot of your W7 Disk Management.

There is no Vista entry in that W7 BCD !
You can't boot Vista from the W7 menu till you add one.
Use EasyBCD 2.0 latest build, "add/remove entries", add a Vista entry, point it at the Vista partition letter (as seen by W7), click "save"

I saw that, but I added it twice. Ok, I never changed the drive letter.

Addendum:

Thanks Terry, changing the drive letter fixed the issue. Booted right to it. Sorry for all the hassle.
