Using Easy BCD 1.7.2.7 I have managed to get my computer to load into either Window Vista or Window 7, but it will not load Windows XP. Originally a great deal of trouble was experienced installing XP. From a forum on the internet I discovered that the problem lay within the BIOS and involved the setting for "IDE Mode". There being two options i.e. "IDE or AHCI". Changing from AHCI to IDE enabled the XP installation to proceed and the OS to load OK. I then used Easy BCD and have the three OS's present in the settings dispay. However unless the BIOS IDE Mode is set to AHCI nothing will load and then only Vista or 7. I cannot load XP. Any suggestions please.
