mqudsi Mostly Harmless Staff member Mar 16, 2008 #2 The software themselves are not compatible, but you can open the files you saved with Microsoft Office on Ubuntu (using OpenOffice). And files saved with OpenOffice on Ubuntu can be opened with MS Office on Windows machines. Cheers!
