"Unexpected declaration" error

I spent a great deal of time yesterday trying to get Vista and XP to dual boot on my main machine. I finally succeeded—although I have not yet gotten NeoGrub to work correctly yet.

In the end, I made the successful configuration changes from EasyBCD running on XP. Now, however, if I try to run EasyBCD in Vista I get the following error.

"The configuation section 'connection Strings' has an unexpected declaration."

EasyBCD then tries to send some diagnostics to a server. That attempt fails and EasyBCD shuts down.

Any idea what's going on here?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Seems to me your EasyBCD settings metabase was somehow corrupted.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\
Delete the folder "NeoSmart_Technologies"

And run EasyBCD again.
