Uninstalling Ubuntu after changing to Win7 bootloader

Hello,

I read some of the posts in the internet and wanted to follow this guide: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/nongeeks-guide-safely-uninstall-ubuntu-dualbooting-machine/, however when I read a post in this forum I was afraid to apply it: http://neosmart.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7901&highlight=uninstall+ubuntu.

Anyways I would like to ask this:

I want to uninstall my current version of Ubuntu 10.04 from my system which I currently run dual boot with Windows 7. I will then reinstall Ubuntu version 11.10 again with Win 7. But the uninstallation process seemed a little hard because of the need to change the boot records after deleting the ubuntu partitions. If I manage to delete those partitions, I do not have a working Windows 7 DVD to use fix mbr of fix boot commands. So I want to use the EasyBCD software to disable the grub bootloader and switch back to windows bootloader then I will manually remove Ubuntu. Can anyone help with the exact processes I should follow in order to do what I need? Or is it safe to follow the guide I linked in this post?

Thanks.

While W7 is working
Control Panel > Backup & Restore > Create System repair disc
Store it safely
It does all the repair functions available from the retail DVD short of reinstalling Windows.
