Vista First then XP = Problems

#1
I hope I can make this story clear. The bottom line is I finally managed to get XP Home Ed. SP2 installed on second physical SATA drive on my Vista 64bit Home Premium SP2 machine. I tried to follow EasyBCD intructions using EasyBCD 2.0 Beta but had problems. Couldn't then boot back into Vista. Using Acronis TrueImage I was ablr to reload the MBR back into Vista (I think) and eventually could boot Vista. But have no dual boot capability. I am not sure just how to use EasyBCD to modify the Vista PBR or bootmgr to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you much and happy new year.

Get [thread=642]EasyBCD latest beta build[/thread] > Add/Remove Entries and add a new XP entry, letting EasyBCD autoconfigure XP's boot files.

Problem is fixed

Thank you for your reply. I actually did just that and wihile I didn't have a lot of confidence, since I was in Vista at the time, it did work. So all is well. Have a happy new year.
