Vista Recover Disc Problem?

Hey, guys. I tried the disc, and the first time I used it, it checked for problems for 10 seconds, said I could press finish, nothing changed, now whenever I try it sits at the screen where it looks for problems. Nothing works. Please help?

Also, is there any way I can do a clean install with it? Probably not. But thanks for your help.

You can't perform a clean install with our recovery discs. If the startup repair tool doesn't help, follow our manual instructions:

If your problem arose as a result of Windows Update, you can get free one-to-one support from Microsoft. Follow the links from Windows Update "update history".
You might find the solution offered here of some use.
