Vista Recovery Disk

I am having trouble downloadng the Neosmart Vista recovery disk. Everytime I click on the link, it opens a file with random letters instead of taking me to the link.

I have a laptop with vista home premium, 32 bit, that won't restart after downloading Vista SP1. It says "windows failed to load because a file is missing or corrupt" then has file: ntoskrn1.exe and Status: 0xc0000098.

I am hoping your recovery disk can get me to the point I can undo the SP1 download.

I'm using windows explorer V8 browser,

Addendum:

I have another computer and just tried the download with IE7 and it worked. So it must be the V8 compatibility that is the issue. Problems solved for now. May need help later though
