Vista/XP Dual Boot - Bootmgr is missing

i had vista/xp dual booting just fine. Turned off the computer and the next day I received the bootmgr is missing screen. So I followed the documentation and did a repair off the vista dvd. Vista now works fine. The boot manager screen was now no longer shown. The manage operating system screen didn't show xp. SO I added it. It now shows Windows Xp and Vista. When I select XP it just restarts the computer. Any ideas?

Already looked at that link and followed those directions and the same error exists.

Are you sure the settings for XP are correct? Is it set to /BOOT or C:\ in the EasyBCD settings? If it is set to the Boot drive try setting it to C:\ or D:\ depeding on your setup.
