But the software still does not respond. I have an Acer Q660
Maybe the Re doesn't have plug and play?any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks Mitch

Hi Mitch,

That's odd. It certainly should work.
In your BIOS there is (or should be) a setting for "legacy USB". Make sure it's enabled?
If that doesn't help or that option is not there, please send an email to support@systemdiscs.com to obtain a different version of the software.

Great!
the new software is letting the mouse and keyboard work,it then goes to a line item choice of actions ie; scan for virus, system restore, command prompt etc...I tried all of these options to no avail, there was no "auto repair" option as on the first software.
Im open to further exploration.
Thanks Mitch

sweet,
thanks Guru
your pal Mitch

Addendum

Well the auto didn't work, option 2 failed I guess it's time to go Nucular as pres. Bush used to say

I get the error code 0xc000000f when I try to get back to the cd to nuke the c drive Guru?

Addendum

Never mind success!!!!!!
I unplugged let it sit it rebooted with re disc it went to the menu I said what the heck hit auto and it Worked!
Then I remembered that you said sometimes you must run it multiple times.
So Im up and running.
Thanks Guru

Great news. Yes, it was likely the multiple runs and not the unplug that fixed it, but ya never know
