That's the code name for 8.10 version of Ubuntu
Weird...then I don't have any idea then why Gparted is not on your LiveCD. :wtf:

As an alternative, you can also check from the Terminal:

It's not called GParted in the Live CD. It's called "Partition Editor" or something, and it's in the administration menu.

Thanks for stating the obvious That's why I said specifically "System>Administration>Partition Editor", but though it may be called "Partition Editor" in the menu, it is still Gparted.

I know. But if someone were to look for GParted in that menu, they mightn't find it - I was making sure all the bases were covered.
