Which OS first?

I want to create a Win10/Win7 dual-boot but have Win10 currently installed as my only OS.

I'm sure this has to be an FAQ but does it matter which OS you install first?

Thanks.

Hi Carl, welcome to our forums! If you're starting from scratch, install Windows 7 first and Windows 10 second. No additional configuration will be needed.

Problem is I'm not. As I said, 10's on already.

It's a moot point now anyway as I now have other plans which don't involve dual-boot.

Sorry, I misread your post.
You can install Windows 7 at any time, and then add Windows 10 via EasyBCD. Errors about invalid signature mean you need to replace Windows 7's bootmgr with the one from Windows 10's \Windows\boot\pcat directory.

If you're not dual-booting, obviously you can ignore all the above. Virtual machines are a much more lucrative option these days.
