Hi i need to ask a possibly silly question, anyway i have win 7 both 64 and 32 bit OS's on my pc works fine no problems except that on the boot screen they both have the same name Windows 7. What i want to know is how do i change them to read Windows 7(64) and Windows 7(32) i'm really sorry if this is concidered a dumb question but i don't want to muck around with the boot loader not knowing what i'm doimg. thanks for any help i can get.

Hi.
What you want to do is easy to accomplish with EasyBCD, which can be downloaded from this site.

Once you install EasyBCD, just run it, go to Change Settings, select the first entry you want to change the name of, give it a new name, click the Save button, then select the second entry, give it a new name, and click the Save button once more.

Then you will have your system the way you want it.

Cheers.

Jake

Make sure you use EasyBCD 2.0 latest build, which is fully compatible with W7
(1.7 will regress theW7 startup screen to Vista's)
Just change the names of the 2 entries as Jake said. Then "save settings". No need to save them individually.
