Win 7 booting into Sandisk SSD hangs.

Hi all, I've cloned Win 7 onto Sandisk SSD.
Boot up hangs from a cold start until I go into f2 Bios, which takes awhile, and....... don't change anything, just save and exit, thereafter boot up is completed smoothly.
I've downloaded easy BCD, here's the entry ;
There is one entry in the Windows bootloader.

Default: Windows 7
Timeout: 30 seconds
Boot Drive: C:\

Entry #1
Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

Any ideas please?

Thanks

It sounds like a BIOS issue.
There's nothing wrong with your BCD and nothing you need to do with EasyBCD.
Check also your "cloning" software small print.

Thanks.
Since your reply I've submitted the results of systeminfo.bat to Sandisk. Their response was to update the abysmal Sony vgn-fw11E bios which I had done and gave me no further usfull options bar a greyed out Intel virtual something or other.
I have also checked the status of the SSD firmware which is up to date.
Note I cloned using Sandisk ssd cloning kit as a boot disk.

1) Internal HDD
2) DVD/CD
San disk have escalated the issue so I await their suggestions.
I suggest that the Sony BIOS is fatally lacking in fuctionality

I'm not familiar with the Sony BIOS, but the Phoenix BIOS on my previous (non UEFI) PCs had a hierarchical boot priority tree.
i.e. Device type (HDD, CD, floppy, USB etc), and then within each of those categories, another list.
Have you checked the relative boot priority of your different HDDs?

Thanks for sticking with this but the BIOS is as simplistic as possible, they don't want the user to interfere. There's just 3 options ...internal HDD, external DVD/CD, external device. I've had an offer of replacement from SanDisk, they don't have any answers, but I don't see the point. I'm resigned to leaving the laptop in sleep and manually installing Windows updates,
