Win7 Recovery Discs Hash discrepancy

Has there been a change to the file used for the Windows 7 System Recovery Discs?
I downloaded the 32 bit version and got a MD5 hash that was totally different from the expected hash contained in the thread following the download link. Can you please tell me if:

ed53ff0a3acb103a9f6137f76c60e2ff

is the correct MD-5 hash for the System Recovery Discs?

Are you sure you've got the right hash? Or perhaps you got the wrong disc?... there's like four different discs available 2 for Vista and 2 for Win7 one being 32 (x86) bit and the other 64 (x64) bit.

If your Windows 7 isn't broken, you can use Control Panel /Backup and Restore/Create system repair disk, and create your own version without needing to download. (Of course if you have a W7 installation DVD, you don't need either. The DVD does it all)

It's the correct hash.

32-Bit Hash:
ED53FF0A3ACB103A9F6137F76C60E2FF

64-Bit Hash:
F1F6E88C2C658981DE65873A4D236C93

These are for the Windows 7 Recovery Discs.

Thank you for the confirmation. The hash I was referencing against was found in the thread below the download which did not match the hash of my downloaded file. I couldn't find the actual hash anywhere else but in the course of looking I did find as Terry mentioned that my version of Windows 7 can burn the same recovery discs.

I just posted the hashes of the original files that I uploaded from my PC to NST, so you should be good to go

It's the correct hash.

These are for the Windows 7 Recovery Discs.

Thank you, I needed these as well and just to finish off this thread here are the Windows Vista Recovery Disc MD5 hashes as well:

maybe these will help someone too.
